Randox Introduces A Range Of 25 Liquid And Ready-To-Use Protein Assays

Randox have introduced a range of 25 liquid and ready-to-use protein assays. Clinicians use protein assays to diagnose and monitor a diverse range of diseases and conditions such as diabetes, arthritis and anaemia.

Randox protein assays are manufactured to meet high performance specifications. The assays have wide ranges, excellent precision, and long shelf lives. Rigorous interference and antigen excess testing verify that the assays perform consistently across the entire clinical range. Accuracy is ensured by standardisation against Certified Reference Materials CRM-470 and WHO international standards. Randox assays are multi-analyser assays suitable for use on the majority of clinical chemistry analysers.

Latex-enhanced protein assays contain microscopic latex particles to amplify the protein:reagent reaction and increase the sensitivity of the assays. Randox have introduced latex-enhanced protein assays where ultra-low levels of the protein are clinically significant, for example C-reactive protein and ferritin.

Randox protein assays are supported by a comprehensive range of multi and mono quality controls and calibrators supplied with instrument-specific and method-specific values. The liquid Specific Protein quality control is available in three levels covering 25 protein parameters and offering a one-month open vial stability.
